Drupal 8 Chat Installation Instructions

Drupal 8 Chat Module by Chatwee is a great way to stimulate growth of your site.
In order to install the widget in a few easy steps, start by downloading the zip folder containing the files.

Before you proceed with the chat installation, we suggest you sign up for an account with us first. It’s absolutely free, and you’ll need access to certain details inside in order to complete the installation.

Log in to the admin area of your Drupal 8 website and click Extend.
Next, click Install new module.
Browse your hard drive for the previously downloaded zip folder and upload it as it is. Click Install.
Your Drupal 8 live chat will now be listed among modules. Tick the box, scroll the page down, and click Install again.
The page will reload and you’ll now be able to finish the chat installation. Click Configure to proceed.
Finally, go back to your Chatwee Dashboard, copy the installation code, and paste it into the box. Click Save configuration when done with other settings as well.
